Energica's new electric motor
« on: June 30, 2021, 08:54:20 AM »
Energica has developed a new drive motor that will be installed on their bikes soon. More power, better cooling and lighter weight. What is not to like?  ;) Here is a link to the article and press release: https://electricmotorcycles.news/emce-the-new-electric-motor-of-energica-motor-company/
current bikes: 2018 16.6 kWh Zero S, 2011 Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Classic, 2009 BMW F650GS, 2007 BMW R1200R, 2005 Triumph T-100 Bonneville, 2002 Yamaha FZ1 and a 1978 Honda Kick 'N Go Senior.

Energica keeps on upping the game every year.  Let's hope the watercooling won't be a problem.  Hopefully they put this motor in the SS9+, that's the one I'm planning to get.

When I read the article that I quoted it sounded to me that all of the next batch of Energica's to be manufactured would come with the new motor.  :)

Yeah....  Really looks like they are seriously in the business....  Nice to see....  Always rooting for Italian motorcycles....  They certainly know how to make them look right....
