Brammo Empulse / Re: HELP System fault C2

I also had the problem that the error C2 was displayed when chargeing. The process started normally. Faucet came on, fans started - but instead of a charge current display, the error message came and the front light went on and off rhythmically.

After all fuses had been checked and a charge at another charging point with a different cable was unsuccessful, I went (with telephone support) on a deeper troubleshooting on the motorcycle.
- MAKE SURE TO OPEN THE SKIN PLUG !!! -

On my motorcycle, a cable goes from the charging connector (J1772) through a fuse to the EV charge controller.
A cable comes out of the charge controller, which is now connected to the battery via an Anderson-connector  (below the charging connection).
That connector had melted.

After the defective connector has been removed and an XT60 soldered in (don't forget to secure it with a cable tie) the motorcycle charges again properly.

Tobias

Brammo Empulse FAQ / Alternative Speed-Sensor
« on: July 21, 2020, 03:24:09 AM »
As i had a problem getting a new Speed-Sensor i was looking for alternatives.

My solution is easy and cheap as the Sensor is ~23 EUR and the 3D-Printed Adapter is <0,10 EUR
The Sensor ca be found at Conrad Elektronic (https://www.conrad.de/de/p/hamlin-hallsensor-55505-00-02-a-4-75-24-v-dc-messbereich-0-5-mm-kabel-offenes-ende-622750.html)

I use the Sensor now since 8 Months, in Sun, Rain, and below 0 degreese Celcius, without any problems :)

Al Files can be found here: http://irq-net.de/upload/Brammo.zip
