I would recommend not installing the 220v.

Thanks BrammoBrian, and also to everyone else for all the useful infos - we usually don't get that cold around here, February averaging slightly below freezing or so (except this past winter which featured a couple of cold spells and three massive snowstorms).
On the other note... how is Brammo's current tech support over here, ie. what happens if one morning I walk out to the bike and it just won't start up? do you have any subcontractors in the area for maintenance work - if not, when do you envisage the Geek Squad coverage extension?
I've been using Motul Chain clean and it works like a breeze it just melts out everything, I normally use half a can when I clean my chain and tons of paper towel I snatch from a local gas station, I would suggest you ride your gasoline powered motorcycle when you go get the towels and at least gas up a bit there too lol
I wonder if Brammo has thought of going belt drive?
I was over looking at the Zero DS (really not a bad bike...a bit more range would be nice, and it has a bit of a cost premium, but I am kinda liking it more and more as time goes on...too much longer of a wait on the Plus and I just might go ahead and get that DS...)
I did like this line:
New maintenance free and virtually silent belt drive system.
Mmmmm, little to no maintenance and quiet too? Win win.
Gavin
I have heard nothing but great things about Brammo customer service...
the downside is now I fear they will send me a bike with issues so they can visit New Mexico**...it is beautiful here in the fall and great skiing in the winter...
Gavin
**Joking about that....they are welcome to visit even if my bike is (hopefully) perfect from day one
Here's a noob question: Why would anyone want to change the rear shock anyway? Isn't the one supplied by Brammo good enough? RaceTech's website make it seem like their's is 10 times better than the stock shock, but does it really make all that much difference?
One of the perennial activities of motorcycle owners is tinkering. There's not too much to tinker with on the Enertia (until someone cracks the motor controller software) so that leaves us with suspension, tires/wheels, chain, handlebars, lighting, baggage, color and not much else.
Is the Race Tech suspension better? All you can do is read the reviews. I'm not planning on changing anything like that on mine as it is adequate for my needs.
