Victory Charger related?
-
I don't know. Looks like it has an exhaust pipe under the seat and the dimensions don't exactly match the Empulse. Interesting that Roland Sands Design's logo is on it.

Yeah, definitely looks like a gas burner. But Victory teasing a sports bike is in itself big news!

Looks like the silhouette is a V-twin, but that could just be my eyes playing tricks.
What if the Charger wasn't a bespoke model intended for high production, but instead was an EV "version" of an existing model? Or rather, new model, but available with either a V-twin or an electric powertrain .. similar to say the Ford Focus or the VW Golf.
What if Victory brings two bikes, one with a V-twin and one with the RR powertrain, to Pikes Peak? And what if the RR wipes the floor with the V-twin? Electrics are clear and obvious wins in two arenas: light weight bikes and short distance high altitude races. If you wanted to "shock" mainstream buyers and show off your new acquisition .. what better way than to introduce a new bike and show that gas is good, but electric is better?
Could be exciting.. : )

I think this is a nice illustration what will likely at least vaguely resemble what gets unveiled at Pikes Peak. While entertaining to speculate, I think the only thing that can be discerned is that it will have 2 wheels. At least 2, this is a Polaris company after all so 3 wheels might not be completely out of the question. The exhaust pipe likely existed in the stock picture they started with and may or may not be related to that actual project.
My hope is that it is an enhanced re-branded Empulse RR.

So it's a "prototype motor" in a hand-built chassis by Roland Sands. Kind of cool, but not exactly world shaking news. The fact that they are starting to hint at performance aspirations is significant though. Maybe Victory will become the sporty alternative to the Indian's cruiser division after all.

Bike took a beating at Pike's Peak, rider apparently ok

Maybe they can fly in one of the IoM bikes to replace it by something of this day and age...

It looks like Victory should have stuck with electric power for the trip up Pike's Peak:
