I have just read your post and I promise to take it up with Polaris senior management - these delays are completely unacceptable. As Brammo we spent years building an excellent reputation for service so it is very painful for me to watch that reputation being squandered and to read comments like yours about never buying from a start up again. Polaris Industries acquired our motorcycle business 16 months ago now and all the service parts have been transferred to Polaris -  it is a mystery to me why they cant get these parts to dealers.  As I said at the start of this post I will raise this issue with Polaris senior management - meanwhile I have also emailed the service team in Europe. Thank you for buying your Empulse and placing your trust in Brammo - I am very sorry that your recent experience has been so disappointing.  Although I cant directly fix this feel free to contact me directly at any time astewart@brammo.com

Wanting to buy / Re: I'd like to buy an Empulse R

If you want a motorcycle will full warranty then you should start by contacting Hollywood Electrics    901 N Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046
(323) 654-8271
If they don't have exactly what you want in stock we (Brammo) may be able to find it at another dealership and ship it to Hollywood Electrics.

Brammo News And Views / Re: Brammo prices and support
« on: April 29, 2015, 12:10:05 PM »
For now, Brammo and most of its authorized dealer network will continue to support all Brammo motorcycles, this includes all models of the Enertia, Enertia Plus and all models of the Empulse.
Warranty claims will continue to be honored by Brammo and processed in a timely manner.
Brammo will continue to make parts and accessories available through Brammo dealers.
Here is a list of those dealers  http://legacy.brammo.com/store-locator

Sometime during 2015 Polaris will assume full service and parts responsibility for Brammo motorcycles through their Victory dealer network.

Polaris will then service and support all Brammo motorcycles. This includes all models of the Enertia, Enertia Plus and all models of the Empulse. Polaris will honor all warranty claims on Brammo motorcycles.
During the transfer of production from Brammo to Polaris and the associated transfer of production inventory and service inventory customers may experience some delays in parts availability.
We are working hard to ensure that these delays are kept to a minimum, however we apologize in advance for any temporary disruption to the availability of certain parts.

Once this transfer is complete Brammo owners will enjoy access to a much larger dealer network that has the training, tools and parts to support their motorcycle. Probably the largest electric motorcycle dealer network in the world.  I believe this will have a favorable impact on used prices of Brammo motorcycles.

Please dont hesitate to email service@brammo.com at any time.

Brammo Empulse / Re: Rear wheel bearing fail at 10K, NO warranty?
« on: April 18, 2015, 10:23:04 AM »
Bearings are indeed considered normal wear items. However, I will raise this topic with the Head of Service on Monday and he will contact you directly JeffK. At the very least we will look into what happened and attempt to determine the underlying cause.  Adrian at Brammo.

Brammo Empulse Mods / Re: Found this....
« on: November 19, 2013, 12:07:35 PM »
We agree.  In future the Brammo name will be more prominently displayed on the Empulse and existing Empulse customers will receive Brammo decals which they can place on their pride and joy. If anyone call tell me how many Brammo logos there are on an Empulse (and yes I will be including the ones you can’t see that are on the BMS circuit board) then I am sure we can come up with a suitable reward........  :)

Brammo Empulse / Re: Empulse's max sustained speed 70mph?
« on: January 09, 2013, 09:01:05 PM »
Flar is correct this was a simple mistake by Allan at SportBikes Inc when he looked at the spec sheet for the Empulse.
" SAE Highway / Constant Speed Riding Range Test Procedure for Electric Motorcycles (70 mph / 113 km/h sustained). "
The Empulse is capable of 100+ mph and this speed can be sustained.
SportBikes Inc will make a notice of correction in their next issue.

Brammo Empulse / Re: Reservation change?
« on: May 16, 2012, 11:37:52 AM »
All pre orders will receive an email from Brammo in the next few days. All the US pre-orders will be processed in the sequence they were originally placed. However, if you are pre-order #1 and elect to take an Empulse in January and pre-order #2 elects to take an Empulse R that bike will clearly ship first. You can use the online system to convert an existing pre-order for a 6.0 8.0 or 10.0 to either an Empulse or Empulse R - but as I said the original sequencing is maintained. Hope that helps clarify the situation. There are currently about 1100 pre-orders in the US and since the launch another 45 people have placed pre-orders for the Empulse or Empulse R. Keep an eye on your in boxes...Adrian

Brammo Empulse / Re: April Showers?

Gavin is indeed a great ambassador for Brammo - but I honestly don’t think he would want my job!
Tell me if I am wrong Gavin !!!
We truly understand the frustration that exists and we appreciate everyone’s patience.....Which we know is starting to wear thin. The team at Brammo has been working incredibly hard on the Empulse (and the Enertia Plus) - and by that I mean no weekends off and sleeping bags in the workshop on a few occasions....all that effort is now about to pay off and we are ready and excited to share our story and reveal the fruit of our labors.....more details next week.

Brammo Empulse / Re: Empulse Production Date?
« on: February 29, 2012, 12:41:33 PM »
I know how frustrating waiting can be for Brammo fans, especially those who have preordered an Empulse......All I can say is that we are executing to our plan and remain on schedule - which includes our communication plan.....and that kicks into gear (pun intended) in March...including our much missed Monthly Newsletters....

The Enertia Plus is on track and you will be hearing more about that very soon..... its going to be an exciting year for Brammo riders......for Brammo ....and the motorcycle industry.

Brammo Encite / Re: Electric Brammo Encite with IET technology FLY BY

Well I am glad you enjoyed the footage from Italy (and Sarvar - even though it was edited).  As you can imagine we have to tread a fine line with what we release. While some people find video teasers enjoyable others find them incredibly frustrating. However we hear what you are saying and as always we value Forum opinions and feedback. We are about to announce a new hire in this area so I will make sure Peter is aware of your desire for more frequent glimpses behind the scenes...his appointment will include a short "raw video" clip so hopefully you will see this as a small step in the right direction.... Thanks for the feedback.

Brammo News And Views / Re: Hong Kong Chooses Brammo
« on: November 02, 2011, 12:08:34 PM »
Its an interesting picture you paint SamM but not one that I recognize.
Let me share some facts - the first people to buy the Enertia when it went on sale were Jianshe in China who bought two and shipped them to China, this is over two years ago now. We have visited their factory - it is a very impressive gas bike facility.
The Hong Kong police order will have no measurable impact on the delivery of bikes to customers either in the USA, Europe or Asia.
Designing and building vehicles requires huge up-front investment, so the key to success is volume. This order is good for Brammo and good for Brammo customers everywhere. The Hong Kong police have tested the bike every day for almost 9 months now - what a vote of confidence in the build quality, reliability and safety of the Brammo motorcycles.... I am sure Mr Takanobu Ito has been asking questions!!

Brammo Enertia / Re: A first ride report
« on: October 09, 2011, 01:39:04 PM »
The Enertia with a range of 40+ miles will live on as a 2012 model with all the enhancements I listed previously.
The Enertia Plus will have all the enhancements listed and the new Brammo Battery packs giving a range of 80+ miles.
We were delighted to see that one of our test riders recently did a 51 mile ride on a 2012 Enertia and he is over 200 lbs. It was an urban ride so as you might expect at urban speeds. Still as he has done over 10,000 miles on the previous Enertia we have good base line data to show this is a real improvement.

Brammo Enertia / Re: A first ride report
« on: October 04, 2011, 05:34:08 PM »
The 2012 Enertia which is in Europe now and arrives in the US shortly has a number of changes that you will also see on the Enertia Plus. Low speed maneuverability is much improved.

EU and UK homologation and Bold New Colors !

New motor controller allowing for greater configuration options and more robust communications with the Vehicle Control Unit.  This change is mostly transparent to you the customer, it may provide room for growth into "sport" or "economy" driving maps in the future.

New forged triple clamp with much improved steering lock and slightly modified geometry and ergonomics.  Reduced trail plus the increased lock makes for a dramatic improvement to low-speed maneuverability, without sacrificing any stability at speed.  The handle bar position is roughly 1" higher and 1" back towards the rider which was judged to be more comfortable for a wide variety of rider shapes and sizes.

New cast aluminum headlamp brackets clean up the aesthetic of the front end and make servicing to any of the parts in that assembly much easier (i.e. more room for tools).  They also reposition the dash closer to the triple clamp and change the angle slightly. The new brackets were also designed to accept accessories like the windscreen with a simple bolt-on kit.

New upgraded motor. The power level is the same, but the motor features greater efficiency which reduces the heat generated, allowing more performance to be pulled out of the bike.

New auto-start module integration - The Enertia now starts with the key switch and does not require the button press.  The start button has been replaced with a tasteful stamped aluminum Brammo bull head badge.

The Enertia also charges when plugged in to AC power, no special key position or steps required.

New mirrors and new handlebar grips.
