Electric Motorcycle Review: Brammo Enertia (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z2dIYHA9jXA#ws)
I thought this gentleman did a great job reviewing an Enertia that had apparently been loaned to him.

Every time I see a video of someone riding an Enertia, I am impressed at how advanced the Enertia was when it was first introduced, compared with the more expensive 2008-2009 Electric Motorsport GPR-S and the 2009 Zero, which were its competitors at the time. The Enertia still has good performance several years later, while the GPR-S (now called Native) is sold as a you-build-it-from-your-own-parts kit bike and the Zero has only just passed the original Enertia in performance, but still does not measure up to the Enertia's quality of its chassis components.

Yup, the grand old lady still looks good after all that time. I'm just happy that the newer bikes have a more streamlined start up sequence and charge up process. The ones on the Enertia seem a little bit too cautious.

"grand old lady" :o
Hey, it's only been three years - two and half if you're counting when they actually showed up on the Best Buy sales floor.
At worst, the Enertia is more like a MILF than a GOL.

Well since I plan to ride my MILF at lunchtime (sky rockets in flight.....), I think we need a better term...
EVILF is my suggestion...

In 3 years time, the Enertia dropped from its introduction (8/2009) at $12k down to $8k, then doubled its battery capacity, gained a bit more power as the Enertia Plus and was reintroduced at $11k.
The Zero bikes likewise have gone from a 3.6 kWh $10k street bike (60+ mph) to a 5.3 kWh $11.5k highway-capable bike (75+ mph) .. in about 2.5 years.
Call it what you like, but the specs and capabilities are rapidly evolving.

EVILF sounds kind of ... evil.
I'm just trying to get away from an appellation that makes the Enertia sound like the Queen Elizabeth II.
-
Well I found it kinda funny that we were having a "semi" serious conversation about the Enertia being a MILF....
Though I must admit that at lunch not only did I take her for a ride, but I also showed her my O-ring face...O, O, O....
On a side note, the O-ring chain feels good...very quiet...very smooth...though it might just be that putting on a new chain always feels like that at first?

The term you want to use for the original Enertia is the "classic". That is a much better description than what has been suggested so far. Plus, years from now it will be really be a "classic" electric motorcycle - if not a "vintage" one. :)
