2011 Enertia Basic Not Powering Up During Charge-Need Cables

(1/1)

Epicurus:
Hello all!

My Enertia wasn't charging last summer and now I can't get it to turn on at all. I recently made the dash Y-cable to do diagnostics, but I need to get the batteries to hold charge first. Does anyone have info on this two piece battery communication cable? Where to buy our a technical drawing?

See attached picture.

Trying once again for a successful reply.

The bike doesn't power up at all?  If that's the case it's possible the batteries have self-discharged to the point where the overall voltage is too low.  Can you check the individual battery voltages and report back with the results?

I learned the hard way that it isn't a good idea to let these bikes sit for long periods of time without checking the SoC every two to three weeks.  Even that can be misleading.  It's actually better to also check the high and low cell group voltages as well.  While the overall SoC may be fine, a weak battery may have individual cell groups with low voltage that won't be noticed without going into the secondary menu of the charging screen.

Hi, you need a usb rs485 converter: I ordered on Ali:

And you will need a connector, same as batterycable
