I wonder if Brammo might announce what this article is suggesting. Scroll almost to the bottom.

Maybe this should be part of the note stuck to the car:

How to defeat the charge cable lock – should you think you need to.
2014 BMW i3 US charging socket showing locking clip. Press the release button on the J-Plug whilst locking the doors – the little locking plate above the J-Plug wants to come out, but it won’t until you release the button on the J-plug. Slowly ease the button up whilst tilting the J-plug out and back… wait for it… the moment the catch starts to move, press the button down again quickly to block the catch coming out! The catch will stop automatically, thinking it’s out far enough but it’s not! With a bit of practice you too can defeat it every time leaving the cable unlocked for the next person to use.

If and when the Livewire Tour comes to S.FL the wife and I are definitely going to check out this bike.

Four posts back is a link to an investor video that shows (@ 1:58) three stops in Fla. Post how the test ride goes as I am in Ohio and will likely be skipped by the Tour.

That's some good pics but I didn't notice any place to plug in.

If you look at the pic just above the footrest/brake pedal, there is a round piece that I believe is big enough to hide a L2 plug connector.

It looks like a Renault Twizy.

"wait, did I just compare myself to a toddler?"

Or to Veruca Salt, "I want the world. I want the whole world. I want to lock it all up in my pocket. It's my bar of chocolate. Give it to me now."

I see 4 R's and 2 E1's.  :)

You can tell by looking at the front forks and the charge port covers.  'R' has gold forks and shiny covers.  E1 has black forks and dull covers.

Having never been to Indy, are the pits open to the public or do I need to buy a pit pass?

Brammo Empulse / Re: Rider Height

*Bump*

Time to look into rider height again.  Having had a chance to sit on an Empulse at the Cleveland Motorcycle show in January, I question how comfortable I will be on this bike. At 6'3" the bike felt a little small to me. Of all the current owners are any of the taller ones feeling a bit cramped?

Empulse E1 (non-R) production is set to begin in April, so you can get excited.  ;)  Thanks for your patience!

Coming in April, hopefully to a store near you.  8)

Found a video of a black Empulse R being ridden in Parrish, Florida. Is the subject of this video on the forums?

Brammo Empulse / Non "R" production guesstimate
« on: March 02, 2013, 10:30:42 PM »
"R" production and deliveries are underway and many pre-orderers are now enjoying their rides. I already know that my pre-order is set back for a couple reasons. One being where I live (Ohio) and that I ordered the non R. My question is, is there an estimated time frame for production of the non R. I'm just looking forward to the time I should get excited again.  ;D
