Title: One red LED light lit up continuously
Post by: barboo on July 15, 2014, 09:14:57 AM
The error code thread got me wondering. Has anyone encountered the right most (of the 4 LEDs on the instrument panel it is the last one to the right) LED staying on red continuously? What's odd is it is more like half lit, not fully lit.

No error codes on the panel and it doesn't appear to impact performance at all. Is it service light reminder and/or something I can turn off? Right now I'm ignoring it.

Mine (Enertia) is like that. I think it's just to let you know that it's standing by, waiting for you to start it up and ride.

This is normal behavior.

Mine does that when the key is in the most counterclockwise position, "Park", in distinction to the one next to it which is "Locked". The red light lets you know the tail light and the front parking lamp are lit.

I like it for parking in sketchy areas of town, figuring thieves might think the red light on the dash indicates an armed alarm system.

Or are you talking about a red LED that stays on even when riding?

Mine is on while I ride and it is dimmer than upon startup. I didn't notice it since the last 600-700 miles have been at the track and I'm back to riding it in the street now.
