Brammo Enertia Servicing / Enertia Tyres
« on: January 23, 2013, 01:49:16 AM »
Has anyone tried alternative tyres on their Enertia yet?  If there are no Avon dealers near you, what would you suggest?

Welcome Forum / Re: Chain replaced at 2000 miles

I have to agree with Gavin, the Plus is an outstanding bike!!! It's getting really overshadowed by the Empulse hype right now, which is a shame as it's a much better bike than the legacy Enertia.  I was actually disappointed to give the HK police their bikes as i was having way too much fun "testing" them. :)

O-rings chains all the way! The camera really doesn't do the chain noise any favors, kinda sounds like a bee in a matchbox...  :)

We're (JCAM) still here...

We also have US version Enertia, so drop us a line if you don't mind paying for the shipping. :)

Brammo Empulse / Empulse pre-orders
« on: August 04, 2011, 09:47:57 PM »
As Brammo are now approaching 1000 pre-orders, how many of those do you think will materialize into actual money-down orders?  Just to get you really thinking...if only Empulse 10.0 was available.

It seems very easy to have a commitment free pre-order with no deposit, to have a chance at winning a free bike.  Is this pre-order system the right way to gauge potential sales interest?

What would you do to gauge market interest if you were Brammo/Zero/Quantya/KTM?

Just questions i'm throwing out there, please don't read too much into it...  :)

Brammo Enertia / Re: Edible Enertia....

Haha, well Matt (@jcammatt) turned the grand old age of 33 this week, so his thoughtful wife had this cake made for him.  It came out really well and looked great until Matt bit the seat clean off!!!

Brammo Empulse / Re: Enertia vs. Empulse
« on: March 13, 2011, 10:46:24 PM »
For the sake of a balanced argument, what do you see the pro's and con's of both Enertia and Empulse?  In what situation would you chose Enertia over an Empulse, or who do you see as the customer base?

Would appreciate your feedback.  Thanks!!!

Welcome Forum / Re: BRAMMO ENERTIA Won't Go

This does sound like a contactor problem.  Not a complicated fix, just a bit of a fiddle to swap it out.  Brammo will be able to tell you much more.

From my experience, this is the only significant fault to come up with the Enertia and the replacement Contactor won't fail for the same reason.

Having the same problem with Hong Kong...constraint error.  Seems China is a valid entry, but I'd rather not commit myself to that!  :)

Wanting to buy / Re: Australia
« on: February 16, 2011, 10:06:12 PM »
Maybe I can help answer one question:  Yes, the charger will handle 220V 50Hz, it is the same as the European, UK, Hong Kong and Singapore standards.

As I understand, there is no current dealer in Australia... Unsure of the import regulations for new vehicles and the type approval required to license on the road where you are.  It's easy enough to purchase and import an Enertia, the challenge would be getting a plate on it to use on the road.

Hope this helps in some way...let me know if you need more info!

Thanks!
James

Harry, how do you even find out this stuff?  Either you got a tip-off or are regularly phoning the track to ask who is there for the week... Good job either way! :)

No pressure now Brian, just got to get the bike ready for IOM!

Not sure how useful this is day to day but for race telemetry...perfect!  Just need to include tire pressures and temps.  :)

Brammo News And Views / Re: Brammo at the Macau Grand Prix?

Harry, of course you'll get up to the minute news feeds over the weekend!

Here's a bit of a Brammo Forum exclusive:

JCAM has partnered up with Brammo TTX rider Mark Buckley for the Macau Superbike race.  Despite much arm twisting from both Mark and ourselves, we were unable to get a Brammo race bike on track for a lap.  That said Mark will be riding a BMW S1000RR in the main race, sponsored by JCAM.  We will have a Brammo stand at the event so Asia can get its first look at the Empulse along with Mark's TTR bike from 2009!

It will be a big logistical challenge (/nightmare) so wish us luck!  Lots of photos and updates to come.

So are you planning to attend? I think we can at least save you the cost of an entry ticket Brammofan. :)

The specs and price are very exciting...no idea on the announcement date though, although seƱor Brammofan tends to be the first to know these things  :)

Proudly wearing my new hat, so no cheating here!
