This is an interesting and creative custom build using a Vectrix chassis:  https://electricmotorcycles.news/samuel-aguiar-designed-an-electric-motorbike-based-on-a-vectrix-platform/

I'd call it outside-the-box design, but....

Interesting take on a Vectrix.  I owned a VX-1 and it ran just fine as long as you used it in a Urban setting and kept the speed down.  Usable range was barley usable but some have been converted to Lithium batteries with success.  The charger crapped out on mine and the batteries went into my computer backup power supply where they still reside.  The neatest thing about the Vectrix was the regen control (and reverse) through the twist grip.  I wish the Brammo/Victory Empulse used this design.  The worst thing was the planetary gear box.  Although an interesting design incorporating it into the hub, it used spur gears instead of helical gears.  This lead to quite a bit of noise from the rear wheel from a design that could have been completely quiet if the proper components were used.

The Hope sure looks unique and truly a "re-imagined" Vextrix if I ever saw one.
