Title: Empulse Front Sprocket
Post by: EmpulseRider on January 30, 2018, 12:23:05 PM
I have about 12k miles on my 2013 Empulse and Im about due for a chain and sprocket replacement.
From the research I have done on the forum I understand that this is the sprocket to get?:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/JT-Heavy-Duty-Sprocket-JTF1439-14t-fits-Suzuki-GSX-R250-RK-89/201718272757?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/JT-Heavy-Duty-Sprocket-JTF1439-14t-fits-Suzuki-GSX-R250-RK-89/201718272757?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649)

Looks like they are sold out though. Are there any other vendors that will ship to the US? Or is there another suitable replacement?

Any suggestions for rear sprocket and chain?

TIA!

If that is the correct part (I don't know if it is), then a quick Google search of the part number yields several results.  Finding a 14T looks like it might be tough but if you don't mind adjusting your gear ratio (or compensating with the rear sprocket), the 13T looks readily available.

Following up on that, an eBay search for the part number yields several 14T sprockets in stock from UK vendors:

Thanks for the response, lamber!
The top result from your link was the listing I had linked directly to. Seems they got one in stock between the time we both posted. Just placed my order.

How did that sprocket work out for you?  Mine need replacing as well.
