If Brammo needs more people to ride the Empulse in the Mountains covered in snow...well, yes Jeremy can do that...but I can too :)

Does the Fully Adjustable 43mm Marzocchi Forks come in black as pictured on the black R at the top of the thread?

Not the production ones AFAIK. The production bikes also have the gold ring around the motor housing and the orange wires.

I think the non r might have those shocks.

Well that's to bad... I ordered the black R and after seeing the black bike with black forks I really wished the fully adjustable forks came in black! That looks great!

The only difference between the R and non-R (aka the "E1", I asked the Brammo folks what they called the "non-R" and that's what I was told) is some carbon fiber bits and the suspension.

Specs page says (http://www.brammo.com/empulse_specifications/):
ER: Fully Adjustable 43mm Marzocchi Forks
E1: Semi-Adjustable 43mm Marzocchi Forks

The Fully Adjustable forks are "gold", while the Semi-Adjustable are black. So by definition, if the bike has black forks, it's an E1, if they are gold, it's an ER.

I suppose you could take the black forks and put them on the ER, but then you would have an E-Frankenstein!

Heck, if you really wanted black forks, you could trade with somebody who bought an E1. I'm sure many people would trade up for Fully Adjustable forks. Or you could paint your gold forks.

I wonder if Marzocchi makes the fully adjustable in Black...perhaps it could be a special order?

and yes, I am always looking for ways to make Brammo's job harder :)

Very nice! I take it he was not riding it hence the lack of proper gear ;D. Seriously though... we need to see these "in the wild" around the Denver area sooner than later ;)

BTW, Brammo told me they would announce the Colorado dealer weeks ago, I wonder what happened.

The update I got in early Nov. was that they were running some paperwork through the State of Colorado to make everything kosher, but everything is on track.

I posted a link a while back about all the paperwork it takes to make a dealership happen in Colorado.  They have plenty of hoops here in Colorado, and everything moves at the speed of a Soviet-era bread line.

I'm still looking around and trying to catch a wiff of a dealership north of the 49th. *sigh*

Better shot if you make it large. My browser does a very poor job of resizing to fit into a small box.

I can't wait for the day when street corners look like that...with multiple electric bikes parked at the curb.

And....why isn't that white one in my garage right now??  :)

That question leaps to my mind whenever I see any news/pictures/video at all from Brammo these days. "Yes, yes. Very nice... but where'e my Empulse?"

Very nice. Keep up the photos, we appreciate it.

I wonder why you picked red? :)

It will interesting to see how parking goes as more EV's get out on the road. I know I once had the Enertia Plus moved out of a parking space and into a small space next to the spot...they left me plugged in, which was nice, but it still pissed me off...they figured a full parking spot is for cars only...

grrrr

I was trying to get Ain to say that...so it wouldn't seem like we are all spying on him when it comes out...

No worries guys...I actually DON'T work at Netflix anyone.  The Internet isn't always up to date.  ;)

The RED Empluse had nothing to do with my former workplace's color.  I think it's a long standing affliction that started with a red Honda XR100 when I was 9 years old.   :P
