I found an interesting presentation of the Brammo batteries:

With all of the money, work, talented people and technology that went into designing and manufacturing Brammo motorcycles, it sure is a shame that the company collapsed. What a waste of talent and engineering.  :( If only the company had a better business plan and someone at the top who could manage the business so that it could make enough money to stay in business.

I wish Craig had sold the company to a big multi-national, multi-billion dollar, established sports vehicle manufacturer who could have developed and grown the product to its full potential.  Oh, wait!  Didn't something like that actually happen?  Or was I just dreaming? ::)

Well, yes, of course that did happen. But it was kind of piecemeal. The battery part went to Cummins, and several  Brammo people work for them.  The fun part went to Polaris who, did to it whatever you want to call what they did.   >:(
