Brammo Photo Site - www.bramo.smugmug.com
« on: August 07, 2010, 07:22:56 AM »
I just found this cool site called brammo.smugmug.com which appears to be a collection of official Brammo photos posted online.

Here is the link:   http://brammo.smugmug.com/

It puts our media gallery to shame; you should check it out.

Does anyone have more information on it? Maybe a Brammo calendar could be in the works.

Hey Phantom -

I sent a tweet to Ali Afshar, the ESX Racing guy (he's responsible for bring the Brammo models to the Laguna Seca race) suggesting a calendar.  He replied with something like "we're taking notes on these ideas" but I'm not sure if it's gone any farther than that.

My bike actually appears in that collection of pictures.

Hey Brammofan,

Your Enertia looks really great in those photos. Do you know who has the rights to those photos (e.g. Brammo, the photographer, etc.)?

I am planning to make a Brammo brochure to hand out, and these pictures would be cool to use. I still get questions all the time about my Enertia and I bet even more people would be interested in the Empulse.

I'm betting that Brammo has the rights, but if you do something like "photos courtesy of Brammo, All Rights Reserved." you'd be fine.

Some great shots there. Clearly this is put there by Brammo. As far as using them all I can say is that they all are listed for sale with varying prices.

People were talking about items with logos and stuff that had Brammo on it. Well, here you can pick any one of those pictures and they appear to be willing to put them on stickers, post cards, mugs, magnets, mouse pads, tote bags, luggage tags, puzzles, key chains, coasters, playing cards and a whole list of stuff.

But if you were going to use them to promote Brammo in a pamphlet, then I can't imagine Brammo objecting. Free promotion. I'm certain that these were given to or taken by photographers that were paid so they are works for hire which means that they belong to whomever paid the photographer, which again is probably Brammo.

How did you come across this site?

I predict a deck of Blue Enertia playing cards in your future.

How did you come across this site?

I was searching for new news articles for the Empulse and found a tweet (post on twitter) on the news page of www.brammo.com. I do not have a twitter account, but there is a twitter log for Brammo tweets  there.

Hi Sorry I really have been neglecting the forum of late...but back now.
The SmugMug account has two functions;

  • A series of galleries containing hi res images for use by publications around the globe when writing articles about Brammo or electric motorcycles in general, available 24/7.

A place for Brammo Fans to order Brammo merchandise using all the images available.

If you download images then you are agreeing to one of two licences either personal use or commercial use. You can read the small print here  http://www.smugmug.com/prints/catalog/#Downloads

You can only use the Brammo name, logo or device if you have our express written permission.

I think that about sums it up. Our SmugMug site is just coming to the end of its beta test and will feature on the new Brammo website...coming soon.

A
Adrian
