Title: Team Mirai Pikes Peak International Hillclimb 2016 Documentary Subtitled
Post by: HadesOmega on April 09, 2019, 05:25:37 AM
I follow Yoshihiro Kishimoto on Facebook and he posted the link to this video.  It's a documentary of the Team Mirai racing at Pikes Peak in 2016.  They raced a customized Zero FXS.  I've only seen bits and pieces of this video before and there are bunch of clips of the Victory Empulse hillclimb bike that I've never seen.  Man it sux that bike will never see mass production :(  Check it out!

From what I can see the biggest difference is the motor it a large single speed motor

It has rear set footpegs and 2 radiators.  Ohlins suspension.  Gauge cluster is different also.  It probably utilizes offboard charger also.

92ft-lbs of torque (Brian says it 92, in the description it says 192 not sure which one to believe 92 sounds more believable.)
