Title: Custom Empulse Fender Eliminator
Post by: Harlan on February 06, 2015, 02:33:05 PM
A few months ago we started working on a fender eliminator kit for the Empulse but ended up shelving the project. This is a complete taillight kit with integrated turn signals. Running light and brake light are red, turn signals are amber. At this point, I figured I'd see if there was interest in these kits. Pictures of the prototype are attached and a video demonstrating is below.

Prototype is just that, so ignore the rattle can paint job. Production pieces would be powdercoated matte black. The whole install, including removal of the old tail piece takes less than ten minutes, only 5 bolts if you include the seat bolt, and requires no cutting or modification to any existing pieces. License plate bracket is included in the kit but is optional for those who prefer an alternate license plate mounting kit.

Cost of the kit is $450 and delivery would be within 4-6 weeks if I receive sufficient interest to justify production. Feel free to ask any questions on the forum.

Definitely the best looking fender eliminator kit for the Brammo.

Could the plate mounting be angled back instead of forward?

I don't see why not. The license plate mount is a universal mount. It can be minted backwards, angle adjusted, or replaced with an alternate bracket.

Looks great!

But due to my permanent use of the tail pack to carry the charge cable, and the almost permanent use of the rain cover.
I'm afraid that the rain cover would probably drop over the tail lights :'(

Do you ship international?

The video didn't show the turn signal while braking. Is that a function of that light.

Yes. The electronics in the pigtail that connects to the main harness alternates the red and amber when the turn signal is activated. It gives it a clean look and clear intentions to the drivers behind you.

Yes. This is a high quality, low volume kit. Custom fabrication and custom LED arrays are not cheap!

Any updates on this, Harlan? I wonder if this will fit the 2016 Empulse TT as well...
