The layout looks pretty neat.  You can see a lot of Brammo inspired parts.  First are the battery packs which are similar to the Brammo supplied pack in the Victory Empulse.  You can also see the Sevcon controller and possibly the battery charger from the Empulse.  It appears that in addition to the internal combustion engine that there are two electric motors.  Unfortunately, as one commenter to the article said---it's going to be expensive.

UTV's are already expensive...  Looks like a neat idea though, it's basically like PHEV.  What polaris needs to do is make an electric or hybrid dirtbike or quad.  I know Polaris already makes quads and they're pretty good.  I rode the Alta Redshift and it's a pretty nice dirtbike, if there were some competition might help to bring some innovation or drive prices down.

Alta has dropped their prices considerable recently and has also introduced a new model with higher performance.  So they are doing everything right at this time.  Hopefully, they can keep up the good work.  :)
