Future Two-seater Brammo Electric Motorcycle?
« on: April 22, 2010, 05:24:26 PM »

Is the following statement still a planned project by Brammo with a delayed release date?

"Brammo's two-seater motorcycle is expected to have a range of about 100 miles and go 75 miles per hour when it's released next year, he said."

When Reported: February 27, 2009

I sent a message to the company a long time ago about it and all they said is that they didn't have any specific plans like that but have heard a lot of suggestions for a new model like it...

I would think that the report was wrong, but I've heard rumors of the "Brammo Encite and Engage," with the Encite being a smaller scooter. I haven't heard anything else about what the "Engage" would be, but I would think that if they're making a smaller model then they're also making a larger one, which has a good chance of matching those specs. Personally, I'd love a larger model and can't wait to figure out more!

Here's the thread about leaked model pics: http://brammoforum.com/index.php?topic=68.0

No need to worry, Brian. (At least) I'm not out to crack all your secrets!  ;)

Brammofan, I wanted to compliment you on your copyright research, I find it extremely interesting that one of the terms that came up was also "ronin," the term for a wandering samurai. That's one of my favorite words! It'd be so cool to own a Brammo Ronin, don't you think?  ;D

But I'm teasing. We may be crazy for Brammo but we aren't out to uncover anything you'd like to keep confidential. At least I don't think so... Maybe I should speak for myself!  :)

Actually, it's the trademark search, not the copyright search.  I've never thought of doing that before.
It's a lot of fun, poking around the U.S. Trademark search site.  Wow... I can't believe I just said that.  How boring must my life be?

Anyone who wants to spend some time searching on Zero and Vectrix and the other electrics, have a ball:

Sorry, I'm not very familiar with those sorts of things and I didn't look back on it to make sure :P forgive my ignorance.

I am guessing that the Brammo Empulse was the future project mentioned in the article.

Will an Empulse rider be able to carry a passenger?

If she's pregnant, yes. She can carry her unborn child as she rides the Empulse.  Otherwise, Brammo appears to be sticking with the philosophy that, if she wants to spend time with you, she'll either follow you over to your place in her Dodge Neon, or she'll buy her own Brammo and ride beside you.

I guess I should have been more specific.  :)

I am looking forward to learning more about the Empulse.

Gotta give credit to fullempulse.com, but it needs to be said.  It is possible to seat two people (and maybe three?) on the Empulse.

Define comfort. I'll let Cake take it from here.

stickshifts and safetybelts,
bucket seats have all got to go.
when we're driving in the car,
it makes my baby seem so far.
i need you here with me,
not way over in a bucket seat.

(no, the Empulse isn't designed for two riders)
