Looking for a 100 mile, 100 mph bike that also looks like a cuiser? Check out this fine machine:

Read about it here:

I couldn't find a price tag for it. Does anyone have that info?
It's not an Empulse, but it looks pretty cool, too. But it also looks expensive...

"If you have to ask, you probably can't afford it!"
It looks pretty expensive to me too. I don't think that I could afford anything that requires men with muscles, tans and tattoos to be hand welding anything. I can only afford something assembled from pre-manufactured parts by scrawny dudes in overalls.

Brutus has announced version 2 of their electric cruiser.

Curiously, the bike has a 5 speed gearbox, but no clutch. The rear wheel can be breaked by a handlebar mounted lever (presumably taking the place of the clutch), and a foot pedal.

They did a nice job with the photography on this release. I like the looks of this bike but wonder if they're prepared to truly manufacture it... or is it just a one-off to dozen-off?
-
It looks like it is just one guy who will build them as they are ordered based on his website and his posts on elmoto.net. I imagine if business really took off, he would have options.

Estimated price is under $35,000, final price will be determined by buyer interest.

A sweet look at the Brutus shifter.

Ah, the old heel/toe shifter, lifted from Japanese motorcycles from the 1960's. What goes around comes around. ;)
I hope they don't copy the "rotary" shifting gearbox from the same era. It went directly from top gear, to neutral, to first gear. Great for slow city stop-and-go riding, not so great for back road riding. :o
