Brammo Empulse Mods / DC fast charging the Empulse?

There is a Chademo fast charging kit in a top box for sale here from a guy that tried to make that work on a Zero.
Would any of you know if that would work on the Empulse?
Where would I be able to connect the DC power to the battery?
The voltage would be regulated by the kit so I shouldn't need to worry about Chademo station compatibility.
Any advice is welcome. Thanks.

Anybody knows what it means?
Speedometer (and odometer) also stopped working so I think it could be related to this.

Brammo Empulse / Slippery foot pegs

Hi,
When riding in the rain (happens too often lately) I find that I lack a bit of grip with my boots.
Anybody experienced the same?
Any recommendations for more grippy pegs?

Brammo Empulse / Charging fatality

As you may know my bike is always outside and so is my Clipper Creek charge point.
So today I charged the bike for a few hours as it was such a nice day to ride that I couldn't resist (even with a leaking radiator...).
But as I pulled out the charge plug from the bike it became clear that I had killed a snail!
It must have thought that the connector was a great place to take a nap.
Luckily it was exactly in the centre otherwise I might have seen some sparks.

Brammo Empulse / Ripped rear brake light switch cover

Hi,
I think this is the rear brake light switch cover and it is ripped.
Probably by my textile motorcycle pants pressing on it while riding.
Maybe the metal guard bracket should have been a bit higher to prevent it.
I will ask the Dutch importer if he has an easy replacement idea or otherwise I will use some black tape to close it up.

Brammo Empulse / Oil leak?

Hi,
I think my bike has developed an oil leak. See the photo's, it's on the right hand side of the gearbox/motor.
My first action will be to re-torque the little bolts of this panel but I do not know the torque specs for them.
Can anyboy share that with me?

Trip Reports / Charging in England?

Hi, I am planning to ride my bike to England (using a ferry of course) to visit London this summer.
I looked at charging providers but it seems that there isn't a common system like we have here in the Netherlands.
Does any of you know what the best provider is?
Any advice is welcome!

It looks like even the biggest Brammo dealer in Germany has had to read the Polaris deal in the press.
This article shows that he is in the dark and that he is looking for a new dealership to ensure that he can keep selling electric bikes.
Not good to see this happening, he was certainly one of the most active Brammo dealers in Europe, if even he cannot get informed about the future it means the smaller dealers will be even more in the dark...

Brammo Empulse / Charge cable for the Empulse

I stumbled across this cable which in my mind is a far better solution than the Clipper Creek provided with the bike. Much smaller, lighter and you can select charging power.
