Title: Brammo enertia j connector mod.
Post by: firebourn on July 16, 2013, 03:48:18 AM
Does any body know, seen, or have tried to install a "j" connection type on the enertia(not plus). I would like to do this, so I can take advantage of discounted charging rates.

J1772?

Something like this (http://www.tucsonev.com/) should do the trick. You'd either need to wire a C19 coupler onto the end (IIRC what the Enertia uses?) or wire it to a standard NEMA inlet and then get a C19 cable to NEMA 240V.

Note: Double check to make sure the Enertia's charger supports 240V AC. I'm pretty sure it does, but this advice is worth what it costs : P
