I should have edited out that it was trash day....ohhh, flickr lets you edit...garbage can gone!

on a related note...

got to work and two observations:

A) Mileage is at exactly 2000 miles when I parked in the garage...pretty cool

B) Battery is at 89%...I am usually at 85% after the 5.2 mile commute to work...so I was driving slower...and driving slower does have a fairly pronounced affect on battery use.

Time to get those electric grips installed.   ;D

If you don't like that idea, get yourself a set of Hippo Hands (or something similar) to cover your hands.  I think that is a better idea than trying to ride with really thick and heavy gloves, as overly thick gloves can really make controlling the throttle and front brake awkward.  I think I would also consider installing a windshield to reduce the wind chill factor.  Just looking at that picture makes me cold.

It did get beautiful today...ice and snow melted quickly off the roads... So I did a little riding (and then hit the car wash to clean up the bike...she was a dirty girl)...

And of course my favorite no parking spot...

OMG....50 degrees on my morning commute...

I really don't mind riding in the cold...but I kinda forget just how easy and nice it is to ride when it gets to "more normal" temps....

So nice...
