Brammo Empulse / Re: There's just a single rear axle nut, right?

Only one and it's spec is lower than some: 55Nm.

I too like the appearance of the bike. Very much.
The name? Not so much. Sounds like you're beginning to yodel.

What I don't get about those pushing hydrogen: How can it possibly be efficient when you have to compress the hell out of it?
I used to own a scuba shop, and high pressure compressors use a LOT of energy. It just seems the wrong approach to me.

I still have a PDF of the 2013-2014 Brammo Empulse/Empulse R Service Manual and it specifies 55 Nm for the rear axle nut.
If that helps.

Whoa! That IS quite a difference!

IIRC, the Brammo value was considered atypically low by shop mechanics, but I have not definitive answer for you.

If I were you, I'd get in touch with Polaris, because erring either way could be what we'd call: VERY BAD.

Pretty design (harsh seat?) and Sondors has been around a while.
But I'd wait until they are actually available. It's not like they're going to be whooshing out the door like Teslas.

That is exactly what I was thinking after reading the article.

Reminds me of my father's saying: "Two minds with but a single thought; a half-a-thought apiece."

Nice primer.

Basic explanation of why there are so many claims and so few (none!) advances that make it to market.

The Honda CBR 1000RR R-SP has a paint job that requires everyone on the road to be taking Dilantin or, at least, Dramamine.

Yeah, the Vision DC Roadster looks "breezy" and totally impractical. Grabs eyeballs though.

Very expensive looking.

I'd guess they're just trying to capitalize on their name, because they are entering a space that already has lots of contenders, many of them high-quality, that offer folks that use e-bikes in utilitarian ways much more practical designs. E.g. no fender or rack or water bottle bosses, no integrated useful headlight. Of course HD wouldn't release other much more expensive models with these features...

Not being a person enamored of the Motor Company, I'll just have to wait for pricing and features to decide.
