What kind of trickle charger did you use?

Hello all!

My Enertia wasn't charging last summer and now I can't get it to turn on at all. I recently made the dash Y-cable to do diagnostics, but I need to get the batteries to hold charge first. Does anyone have info on this two piece battery communication cable? Where to buy our a technical drawing?

See attached picture.

I made a replacement pair of rear blinkers for my 2011. I have attached the 3D model I made.

Were there any results from this?

How hard was it to get the tail lights off? I was thinking of doing something similar, but 3D printing the whole tail light casing in glass filled nylon.

Splendid! Thank you sir.

It looks like this is for 2010 Enertias. I see some similarities to the 2012 Service manual I have though. Between these two manuals, I have pretty much all I need for my 2011.

Who can we thank for this treasure? Can you share her name?

Thanks.

Did you ever get the Empulse Battery cable working?

I'm trying to find out where to buy one for my Enertia.

Brammo Enertia / HiWave Audio Exciter What is this for?
« on: July 19, 2020, 08:19:45 AM »
Hello,

I removed the top and bottom panels from my Enertia basic in order to troubleshoot a battery balancing issue and I saw this device underneath the top panel. It was unplugged. According to "Internet", this is an exciter/transducer that basically turns any hard flat surface into a speaker. In this case, my top panel.

Is my Enertia supposed to talk to me?! Like audio alarms and alerts? It was unplugged, so maybe I never heard it. I've never heard of this feature on a Brammo.

What kind of cable did you use to connect to the bike?

Thank you very much for the software!

I now need to find the right cable to connect it to my laptop. I thought it was this one:

https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Connective-Peripherals/ES-U-2001-S?qs=QkPn6D1Vh3icFj5aKBXEZg%3D%3D

but I unplugged the RS485 5 pin cable from the #3 valence battery as the manual said to, but I see that this round 5 pin cable doesn't match what I have.

Any idea what cable to use to use the diagnostic software to check the status of my batteries?

Hello,

I have a 2011 Brammo Enertia. I grew up in the Rogue Valley, so Brammo motorcycles were kind of a local legend. I was lucky to find one in Seattle a few years ago. Anyway, at about 3900 miles, I am now getting a B55 unbalanced battery error. The max charge I could get yesterday was 85% and today it won't charge more than 70%. Does anyone have access to the diagnostic software?

I contacted Kurt Beckman, an engineer (at the time) at Brammo. He helped with some troubleshooting advice, but couldn't send me any software. He directed me to Dustin Hall at Cummins, but I couldn't get in touch with him.

I've only seen one mention of this software on this forum; Gerhard said he had it. Does anyone know how to get in touch with him?

Moe,

Its a battery management system error code. The BMS thinks there is a >30% difference in charge between your modules. SOC stands for state of charge.
