the idea is to keep the bike usable but because I do not ride that often anymore also use it as temporairy energy storage.

Has any one done this yet? or dabbled in it?
I noticed that the micro solarpanel inverters have the right specs to make it possible.
but how to wire everything up?
I'm thinking about swithing the micro inverter and the bike charger dependend on battery state and solar production/power usage.
keeping between 20% and 80% charge state.
Ideas?

essentialie I put the thermister into the sleeve of the old thermister cable as far as it will go.
temp does read a steady 10C lower this way but I believe this is good enough.

Motor cycles are most of the time parked in their garage.

coolant is only for the motor.
your eroors are a battery error (B9)
and Motorcontroller error (S231 (Sevcon))
Smell could well be a collant leak. how is the motor temp?

Remove the seat and tank/chargeport cover. Follow the thicker leads (red/black) from the internal charger to the battery.

It's a parker motor (GVM 142 custom winding), not designer by Brammo them self.
Sensor does not need to be inside the winding putty but it will make the vallues closer.
I run my replacement sensor just snugged up to the windings. It works but with a 10deg lower temp.

Have you ever taken the lid off the motor itself?
it house an o-ring that degrades because of the coolant. it self.
