Title: Familiar Battery Pack Design on Zero SR/F
Post by: HadesOmega on February 06, 2019, 04:23:12 AM
Interesting the battery pack for the SRF on the Zero website looks similar to the Brammo battery pack with the heatsinks and all.  Wish the Victory ones were like that I think they look cooler no pun intended :)

Wait did they unveil it?! I've already put down a deposit on the new lightning motorcycle.

It was just another "teaser" picture.   ::)

Yeah it's from their website

Just wondering was there a reasoning behind Victory not having the heatsinks or at least exposed heatsinks for the batteries on the TT?  I know the pack is slightly larger capacity is the only difference.

Extensive testing showed the other power electronics would have heat issues much sooner than the packs. No need for the added cost and volume loss associated with external heat sinks. But yeah, the industrial look of the 7 module bike will always be a favorite.
