Title: 9 of 30's Hero HD tryout on my Enertia
Post by: #47 (formerly 9 of 30) on May 23, 2010, 05:33:30 PM
Tried the camera out on the bike yesterday. Too much vibration and a mount wasn't tight enough so the camera tilts down when I hit a bump. But you do get to hear the bike start!

Working on another right now. A little sunnier today and moved the mount to just in front of my right knee. I left the sound of the bike in on this one mixed in with the music.
Coming soon...

You know, when I get a Brammo I am going to be disapointed that it does'nt emit easy listening music after the startup sound!

All kidding aside, I LOVE the silence. Do not feel the need to dub in music. Honestly the noise (or lack thereof) is one of the many draws consumers will have to the bike!

All the best,
Aaron Lephart

The sound for some reason did not sync well, but I wanted the start up sound in there.
Next video you hear the electric motor and the wind - with a little music in there.

Second video up:
Hero HD on my Enertia - different camera position (http://vimeo.com/11975326)
You can hear the motor and the wind in this one. Lower camera angle.

These are fun . . . I'm going to record that start-up sound when I get mine and make it my new ring tone.

Unless "the special one" has an audio file he'd care to share.
