Pretty cool, but how does that make it a "dual sport"?

I've put TKC80s on a couple Buell XBs and had a blast.  Now you got me thinking . ..

I'd look into a higher front and rear fender. Rocks and mud will destroy those fenders.

Cool Idea, but it needs new suspension to be really usable on the dirt.

Frodus: I think you are right about the rear fender, it needs to be longer but fron not so sure. I have a KTM 950 Adventure as well and it only have a standard floppy frontfender like the Empulse and it's as aged well with thousands after thousands of miles on the dirt. But if you want to take it out in mud you need a high fender or it will in the end lock up the front wheel with all the mud.

Just my .02

TKC80s are definitely pretty aggressive.  The new 70 is a good balance.

I enjoyed the 80s on my buellxb

Would like to hear your opinion about the heidnau tires. I don't like the TKC80 on my Adventure, think it's to ... I would I put.... booring on the adventure.

I'm lucky to have two sets of wheels. For street I have Conti Trailattack2 (or3?) and for the dirt I prefeer MT21. Downside with the MT21 is the wear. I normaly get around 2000-3000 miles out of them. But they are a blast on the dirt. Unfortunally they don't make them in Brammo sizes.

On other IC forums, Heidnau tires get very positive reviews.  The grip well and last a long time - much longer than the TKC80, as an example.  Just be aware that they have a very stiff and thick sidewall and are notorious for being very difficult to mount on a wheel rim. Having Heidnau tires installed by a professional using a tire-changing machine is highly recommended.
