Title: So where can we buy a Brammo now?
Post by: Xaero on June 12, 2015, 06:19:51 PM
Is Polaris making Electric bikes using Brammos parts or can we no longer get one from either?

The Brammo Dealer Locator (http://legacy.brammo.com/store-locator/) still lists stores that sold bikes.  Some of these might have stock on hand.  For example, Seattle E-Bike (http://http://www.electricbikeseattle.com/collections/brammo-enertia-electric-motorcycles) used to have a used black Empulse R for sale for $14k as recently as a month ago.

I just had a pretty bad experience there, FWIW.

Do tell.  They just had a bad experience, too:  A fire.

The most awful service I've seen done to a bike in 20 years of riding:
http://brammoforum.com/index.php?topic=3026.0 (http://brammoforum.com/index.php?topic=3026.0)

I've had everything done minus engine rebuilds (clutches, rear drive unit, you-name-it) and never seen such shoddy work performed).

Short version of above link: Attention to detail non-existent. 5" scratch in top plastic. Greasy hand prints all over top plastic, headlight aimed sky-high, front tire @ 22 PSI (It was there since May 9th, yeah, it got low). Didn't check work performed for correcting problem.  Bike came back in worse cosmetic shape than I left it in.  Nothing to do with the fire, it was all preventable if they just *cared*.
