KTM Freeride-E production plans
« on: April 07, 2015, 09:46:49 AM »
The May issue of Motorcyclist magazine contains a one-page interview with KTM's President and CEO, Stefan Pierer, (on page 11) in which they ask him 10 questions, two of which are about the Freeride-E. Mr. Pierer states that there is currently good demand for the Freeride-E and that they are starting with a 2,000-unit production volume in 2015 for the three versions of the Freeride-E.  He goes on to say: "With the street-bike coming two years from now, let's say by 2020 we want to achieve 10,000 units a year together with the off-road E-models.  Building up to 10,000 units a year by 2020 is our goal."
