"Officially rated by Brammo at 62-plus mph, though is actually about 10mph higher with this machine -- easily enough for safe highway passage."

Is this Enertia modified for higher speed? Taller gearing?

guess I can comment here since I purchased this bike over the weekend.  Steve Atlas was super nice took a biker buddy and his son over to meet him and he answered the many questions we asked him.  I took the bike home, charged it up and now I'm a super happy Enertia owner.  The bike is a blast to ride and one the best commuter cycles out there IMHO.  I love electric vehicles and have owned and own quite a few including a Nissan Leaf which I drive almost daily but which will now be replaced by the Enertia on those sunny so cal days when the biking siren calls.  Its sooo much fun to cruise up PCH and hear the wind and waves.

Anyways looking forward to using this forum to learn more and share my experiences in the e-bike world.

Congrats...I found the bike to be very well made...heck all the motorcycle people I showed it to were really impressed with build quality...

And I wasn't fond of the green on the website and such, but in person it really grew on me...I'm actually kinda sad I can't get it on the Plus now (crazy talk) as it has a cool 70's motorcycle feel to it...
