Some great internals of the transmission and shots of our Italian friends testing the Empulse.

Also (about 2:40) them dynoing the Empulse which tops at 185 km/h (~114 mph) which is a bit more than the promised 100 ones.
Either that or the dyno isnt properly calibrated (they were looking for transmission stuff anyway, not top speed).
But as the Empulse has 40kW, which is just a bit more than my Honda CBF600 N/A restricted to 35kw which tops at 170-180 km/h (not a joy to ride anyway due to air resistance) so I tend to belive the numbers.

Yeah. I doubt the dyno is calibrated to apply appropriate loading based upon drag for the Empulse in particular.
I recall seeing numbers of 107 mph official top speed for the Empulse. Shelina has had her TTX up around 120 mph at some of the races..

At Thunderhill I definitely got it up to slightly over 100 on the front straight; I want to say 105 or thereabouts. With unlimited 'runway' on the dyno, I believe it would probably have a little more to eke out.

Dyno generally won't accommodate for wind resistance, either.

Using the clutch on the upshifts. Lame. ::)
