Brammo Enertia Plus / Plus with fairings?

For the technical-minded: what kind of gains could we expect if we added some basic racing fairings to the Enertia Plus?

I was thinking that, with the Federal tax incentive making it less than $10K, it could be an option if it could go a little faster and farther away with one charge. The fairings would make it look a little less like a scooter, too.

Anyone with some photoshop skills would like to give it a try and give us a visual?

I just saw the announcement at elmoto.net, Brutus http://www.brutusmotorcycle.com/ is now taking orders for 5 custom bikes. Prices start at $45K. It's a beautiful cruiser that can even be customized to look more cafe' racer(ish) with interesting specs. The price is waaaaaaaayyyyyy beyond anything I will ever be able to afford, but I thought it would be cool to let people here know about it.

Off Topic / Going Media Mainstream???

Is it just me or this last month had A LOT MORE news about electric two-wheeled vehicles in more mainstream publications than, well, ever before (a little exaggeration, maybe)?  ;D

The release of the Empulse, Zero's business numbers, Zero's National Demo day, Zero's promotion, TTXGP, Audi's bike, the Smart Escooter, etc.

And I'm not even counting specialized blogs, just renowned motorcycle and automotive pubs. Just in Motorcycle USA, there has been a couple of stories per week. Even the June issue of Motorcyclist had a page on the Mugen's eSuperbike.

Things seem to be changing fast...  8)

A good article just posted on MotorcycleUSA raises a lot of good questions that electric motorcycles (even powered by solar) help, but are still far from being a solution. As Knupp wrote, it may be at least a step in the right direction...
