Brammo Empulse / "clutch slip" like sensation on hard acceleration?

Every once and a while on hard accel, I notice the RPM jump really high but no concomitant forward "jump" in speed.  Almost like the clutch is slipping.

Anyone else have this issue?

I do have the CRG clutch lever  and maybe I need to let it out a bit as it might be partially engaging?

Suggestions welcome

I just got an email that stated they want to have a phone call with most all Brammo owners with the senior management to discuss their experience with Brammo.

Brammo Empulse / Empulse R track day?

Just wonder if any of you take your bike on the track?
I am thinking about taking the Empulse to gain riding experience.  I track my cars but never a bike.

Besides all the safety stuff any other recommendations?

How does the Empulse do on a track day with charging etc?

Brammo Empulse Mods / Bit of a change...(FINAL!)

I had the guys who wrap and clear bra my cars do the Empulse.  I asked to do a cafe racer kinda look.  This is what he texted to me....looks interesting!  Good thing is it acts like clear bra so no worries about scratching the tank with my jacket etc...also it looks like he satin cleared the carbon fiber!

Can't wait to see the final product!

Brammo Empulse Mods / Ghetto helmet lock

Not sure I needed a helmet lock or not, but decided to give this a try.  Basically it's a bar end helmet lock that I found that has a bolt thru it.  If you add clip ons to your Brammo, you get two nice empty bolt holes.  The good thing is that I only needed the bolt to be the same size or smaller than the bolt hole that holds the handle bar mounts and it did!

So here is the install.

I got the bar end lock from here...there might be others that work but I was looking for something that I could put a bolt thru it.

Install took 5 mins.  I bought a lock nut and a nylon washer.

Here is a pick of me removing the stock bolts that I just left in place to "fill the holes" from the handle bar mounts.

did you add a lock to the Empulse?

just hang it off the handlebars/rear passenger grabs?

I'm debating putting a helmet lock on the bike...

I think it would be a great match to the CF on the Empulse R.  Plus you can get any logo, saying you want on it.

There is a girl "frips girl" that has been on the GT-R forum that does it and I asked her if she could make some for a motorcycle.

Anyone interested?

Brammo Empulse Mods / CRG levers adjustment?

I ended up getting the CRG2 shorties and like them a lot!  However, I notice that adjusting them closer, that it doesn't seem to fully depress the clutch/brake.  There is a pin in there that depresses the hydraulic system.  Is there a way to get a longer pin?

It was a nice read with some nice embedded videos and photos.  I actually found it a nice page turner with how the Empulse came about.
