I think electric or hybrid delivery trucks make total sense. From what I can tell, FedEx and UPS have policies where drivers have to part at the address they're delivering to (unlike how USPS carriers park on a block and make multiple deliveries). This often means the truck is turned on, driven 50-100 feet, and then turned off again. No reason an electric motor couldn't be employed for those short distances, or even longer ones.

I think some holes cut out and some plexy rivetted to the body and some lights behind would do fairly well. Might be hard to replicate the same curves of the body with an aftermarket headlight.

Still interested, they look great.

Exactly. Do this or just cut a few holes in the diameter of an HID assembly and get a kit like thishttp://www.theretrofitsource.com/complete-retrofit-kits/motorcycle-stage-iii-kit-dual-headlight.html and you could be all set.

Heck yeah! I'm sitting right under 700% gains on my TSLA stock. I know its overvalued, but I just can't bring myself to sell...

that's cool, but it would be even better if there were something like Revolights for motorcycles

Nice video. Don't pay attention to the subtitles, though.

I saw this feature on starter motorcycles and figured I'd share:

Pretty decent write-up, too.

Does anyone else notice any differences between E Boz and Steve-o's bikes (besides the obvious graphics)?

I see the wheels and front brake rotors.  The wheels are probably marginally different, but the difference in front brakes seems a bit more significant.

that tan seat really classes the bike up.  My favorite is still the original silver with tan seat and wire rims.

How about doing a true HID conversion like this instead?

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/retrofit_examples.php?retrofits_id=15

There should be plenty of room in that headlight and it would look sweet!

I've always felt similarly.  I'm 215, plus a 20 pound bike... Lets just say that I would not like to get hit by me when I'm travelling @ 20-30mph.  And I keep my bikes greased up well, so I don't make much noise.

Plus, when walking around my quiet neighborhood, the tire noise is the only thing I hear when something like a Lexus is driving by.  Even some of the newer econo-boxes are pretty stealthy with their low rolling resistance tires and all.

Brammo Empulse Mods / Re: Empulse tail tidy mod from BrammoBrian

That is much, much better.  But, I really would like to integrate the tail light into the seat/tail that is already there.  It might be a little sad at first, but I would probably get rid of all of that carbon fiber back there.

I'll see if I can ask for some pics and more information.  If the price can come down a bit, it could be a decent pickup to hold me over until I get enough money saved up for an Empulse again. Had 10 grand just sitting there waiting on the Empulse before shipping got delayed a few times.
