Title: 2017 Victory models announced
Post by: Richard230 on July 28, 2016, 09:19:48 AM
And if you scroll down the list and descriptions of new 2017 IC cruiser models, you will find mention of the 2016 Victory Empulse TT. It doesn't appear to have any changes from the previous 2016 Victory Empulse TT model, including the price.  ::) I guess there is still hope that Victory will announce a 2017 Empulse TT model sometime later this year.  Perhaps at a major European (that would not be at a U.S. show as they appear to be imploding) motorcycle show.

Disappointing  :(

While it's disappointing, I didn't expect anything more from a model that their dealers haven't been fully trained to service and whose sales are rumored (on here) to be anemic. Maybe it doesn't make sense to invest in development until sales pick up.

Since they're publicly traded, isn't there some way to obtain sales figures by model? Their stock chart could sure use a boost right now, but it's probably not going to come from Empulse TT until gas prices or range go up.

Looks like more info coming by the end of this week:

Good to see that Empulse is being continued with all the problems Polaris is facing!
Atleast new accessories for the Empulse would be encouraging.

Empulse TT center stage at Long Beach, CA International Motorcycle Show Nov 2016. Lots of test drives, so it was hard for them to keep up all the demo bikes charged & many people sat on the show bike or snapped a pic. They warm up to it more when I tell them Victory has a sale price less than the $19,995 sticker =)

Woohoo! I wish i were closer to Long Beach and i would've come there with my bike and talked about how my experience has been so far. I already have 1200 miles in about 10 weeks of my ownership. Would've been glad to answer questions!

I think its about time Victory just bring down the price to 15k. But there certainly is an advantage to have the rebate than bring down the price to $15k. With MSRP as $20k, we get a full $2k federal discount which would otherwise be $1.5k

Anything new announced? New accessories? Anything hinted for the future?

At the Long Beach M/C show was it the 2016 Empulse that was on display or was there a new 2017 model with some revisions from the original Victory Empulse?  Did any of the company representatives hint what Victory might have planned in the future for their EV program?

I wonder what sales figures are so far for the Empulse.  I don't expect it to be great

There was only the 2016 model. Several reps were really knowledgeable, having read of all the design engineering and original Brammo materials. They were so busy I didn't ask about new models or accessories, but they said the sales figures were low. They know competitors have prototypes EVs, so the market will grow =Þ

Too bad there's nothing new about ABS on the Empulse. Since 2016 all new motorcycles above 125cc (or eqvivelent kw) has to have ABS to be allowed to sell within EU. So I guess we will not see the Empulse return to Europe in quite a while. :(
