And here is another interesting new model from Kawasaki with a 451cc ICE twin supplemented by an electric motor: https://www.motorcycle.com/bikes/new-model-preview/2024-kawasaki-ninja-7-hybrid-first-look-44595262

Richard230:
Here is another article regarding the Ninja 7, which mentions that it will be marketed in the EU and the UK starting in January of next year. Pricing has still not been determined:  https://thepack.news/kawasaki-introduces-the-all-new-strong-hybrid-motorcycle-ninja-7-hev/

EV promise:
This is interesting Richard .  I see the point and think it's a good concept.  Kawasaki are a good and reliable brand.
The petrol engine is great for highway use and eliminates range anxiety. The electric motor boosts acceleration and provides  low emissions around town. The stop start reducing heat build up whilst standing for lights etc. Something that becomes annoying after a while.
Courier rides in big cities will benefit, commuters  perhaps. I'm not thinking potential superbike owners will buy it.
I see no mention of weight or hybrid range. I guess we'll have the price soon enough and see how sales go.

HadesOmega:
They say with the 450cc hybrid it has the power of a 1000cc, good enough for me.

MCN has more information about the Ninja 7 here, including its weight of 500 pounds:  https://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/new-bikes/kawasaki-ninja-7-hev/
