I have not done six months, to ride a Brammo, and I am arrived to 9200km (5720mi), I will come next maintenance that is to 9600km (6000mi).
In the maintenance list, says to replace the brake oil, and replace the oil of the front suspension.
has anyone ever done this?
-
I'm coming up on it, (5400mi) I did bleed my brakes before hitting the track, its pretty easy, I'll try to put some pictures up this evening.
I haven't replaced my fork oil yet so I'll be interested in hearing how that goes.
-
nobody knows?
no one
all Brammo's users have less than 9600km - 6000mi.
weird.
-
I have almost 13k miles and I've bleed the brakes twice and the the clutch once. The forks no because if the seals aren't broken and not leaking then don't worry about them. As long as they are not bottoming out or something then everything is fine.
-
It is also required to repack the steering bearings with grease every 3000 miles.
I am about to replace the suspension oil in the front legs too, but there is no oil specified...
Wondering what is inside now, as the suspension seems pretty harsh, even in the softest setting.
Does anyone know what kind of oil, how much should one leg contain?
Air chamber figures?
-
So did anybody get anywhere on this? I'm going to do it before I hit up Grattan so if someone has done it, awesome, if not I suppose I'll try to document all the things.

After some digging around I have a possible match for the
forks on the empulse r, Marzocchi RAC 43's. There is a manual posted on Marzocchi's website but here are a few takeaways I got from going through it:
Marzocchi recommends replacing the fork oil every 30000 km (18.6k mi)
The oil is Marzocchi oil code 55 00 13 SAE 7.5
The oil volume is 425 cc's
And the air volume is 110 mm.
(Got confirmation that this is infact correct, 9/29)

Just as I spent the afternoon assessing the internals of the front tubes (http://brammoforum.com/index.php?topic=3090.0)... LOL!

I usually only prefer to use OEM fork seals, they seem to hold up better. But that may present an issue obtaining such here.
This is a bit ridiculous

BUT! there's a part number on there

My brammo already has more than 30000km, and I never changed anything in the suspension.
The manufacturer Marzocchi says that it is only necessary from the 30000km.
-
you're right & even if it's not mandatory at this point, I had the feeling it getting softer over time. It's so gradual that some may never notice it. Since it's not leaking & it's winter big time over here, I may wait a bit if I'm not getting part in time. For now, i'm not impressed with Polaris support at all. Parts for 10 years, yeah right! ::)

Hi all,
I have the Service manual for the Empulse '13-'14. For those who want it, msg me
cheers
-
I'd love to have a service manual! I've messaged you. Anybody else here keeping their Brammo's even after Polaris has abandoned us? If so what kind of equipment are you guys using?
-
I'd love to have a copy as well.
Well, I just picked mine up from Victory for a steal; can't wait to ride the hell out of it. Did my first commute today.
-
