Title: potential purchase

Hello all. As it says..potential purchase.. 2013 brammo empulse but warning on the dash says SEVERE UNDERVOLTAGE. not used in over 2 years at least. New to this kind of bike. Am I getting a nightmare? or fixable? thank you

I would say charge it and see what happens before the purchase!

Hello Korbin, you could check if the dc-dc converter(close to the rear tire) delivers 12 v. If it doesn't I think there's no charging possible.

Hi Gerry, thanks for the info. I will check that. The bike has been stored out side so there is a lot of corrosion on the fasteners and battery connections. I was able to push the bypass?? button on the right side near the steering stem and dash lite up. 2 of the battery green led lights did not come on. I am just now in the process of taking everything apart and getting the batteries out and cleaned up. plan to check the charge on them individually then rig up a way to bring the charge up on them if they are salvageable.
I appreciate all the input from everyone on this forum. This is all new to me and any knowledge passed on to me will help.
