Title: September newsletter
Post by: kingcharles on September 10, 2012, 02:16:22 PM
I received a newsletter today and it mentioned to send an email to empulse@brammo.com if you had a pre order but were not notified for confirmation of the order.
Of course I immediately send a quick email but it bounced...
Am I the only one with this problem or did Brammo forget to activate the empulse@brammo.com account  ???

I let Brammo know that you're having a problem.  I didn't actually try, myself, to send anything to empulse@brammo.com.  Let's make sure to keep an eye on this.

I was already pre-ordered, so I can't help you there...

We will have bikes at events in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Tampa.

Bikes? Like the Empulse R? Or the Enertia Plus? Or just the Enertia Classic? Do you think that they will be allowing people to test ride one of those fine machines?

Is anybody on this forum going to attend? If so, please let us know how it turned out. (Although I might have to make a trip out to Tampa myself, which isn't too far from Orlando.)

Thanks!
I sent another email to info@brammo.com and this has not bounced (yet).

I have emailed empulse@brammo.com in the past and it worked fine... got a response nice and quick too :). BTW the NDR (non-deliverable report) should give you a reason for the bounce.

Not easy to get this info on a Blackberry Playbook but below the NDR. No idea what "Administrative prohibition" means though.

SMTP error code 550 probably means the mail account has been deleted.

BTW - I've checked a couple times with Brammo, and they swear up and down that my email is on their preorder mailing list. I've never received a single newsletter from them. I wonder if perhaps it's being eaten by a spam filter.

That will be the Zero S filter at Brammo...  ;)
