LED Headlight

jazz999:
Looks pretty good. Thanks for the pics

Shinysideup:
I see a lot of upward scatter, the same as my LED bulb replacement in my Empulse. Nonetheless, oncoming drivers never flash me, so I'm assuming the intensity is not bothersome.

Consultec:
So far no flash me.  I will make adjustment later.  Probably aim it down a bit.

How do you make this adjustment? My headlight on my Enertia seems to be a bit loose and aims down over time. It appears just two nuts on each side can be tightened to engage "teeth" and keep it in place. Only problem is now I'm not sure what the perfect rake is.... any guidance would be appreciated!

Shinysideup:
My approach with various bikes has served me well:

1) Find a flat piece of street without any traffic at night.
2) Stop at the side of the road and, using the tools that you remembered to bring with you, adjust the beam so that it illuminates the the longest distance of the roadway that still gives you visual details.
3) Sit on the bike to check No. 2. Re-adjust as necessary.
4) Drive the bike in traffic at night.
5) If drivers flash you, adjust down a little bit and try again. Repeat as necessary.
6) If no driver flashes you, smile: you are done.
