I thought someone had asked this before, but I can't seem to find it. What do all the numbers mean on the "secret screen" (which you can turn on in the charging mode by holding down the tank button for 8 seconds)?
Apologies for the blurry pic.

I was told the State Of Charge (SOC) of the two banks of batteries. The closer these numbers match, the better.
I was in KC just last weekend with the smart car convention. If I had remembered that you live there, I would of looked you up. Drat!

That would have been cool, 9of30.
So, which numbers are talking about on that screen:
H21:3. 309 L18:3. 298
V: 78 I:08 SOC: 20
I'm guessing the the "H" is for the higher bank (on the top of the frame) and that L is the lower bank. What's V? What's I?
SOC = State of Charge, obviously.

I am guessing at all of this! Brian will reply.
H21:3. 309 L18:3. 298
V: 78 I:08 SOC: 20
The "H" indicates the high voltage. The "L" indicates the low voltage.
The number behind the letters show what cell it is. Follwed by the voltage of that particular cell.
V is for Volts. S is state of charge.
I is unknown by me.
Cool, I wanted to make it to KC for the smart car meet! Been there @ the GM Fairfax assembly plant many times. Check out www.smartcar451.com (http://www.smartcar451.com) if you have time!

I = Current (in Amps)

3,950 miles round trip to KC. I was the only one who drove there in their smart car from California.
I prefer smartcarofamerica.com (http://smartcarofamerica.com) forums.

Cool video. Yeah, I am aware of SCOA. When they started censoring and monitoring private posts I created my own forum.
All the best,
