Hi Karel,

I don't have recent pictures of the bike. I could try to make some, but as it is not at my home address, that may take a while.

It does have the side trunk holders, as you can see here:
(but this was a long time ago when the bike looked a lot newer than it is now. Only 1 bag remains, and it is in a bad shape too)

Bikes For Sale Or Auction / Enertia Plus 2013 for sale: Amsterdam, NL
« on: August 05, 2020, 08:29:07 AM »
Hi all,

the moment that I feared, postponed and try to ignore has arrived anyway: I'm getting rid of my Enertia Plus.

It was at the workshop for the last half year, after fitting a new chain and front sprocket. After putting it back together, the bike doesn't run anymore but shows a red warning icon on the dash after starting and turning the throttle.
Dashboard display is broken so we can't see what error message it shows, if any.

If anyone here is interested in using it for parts, or thinks they can revive it with the right hardware, software and determination, please contact me and we can arrange something, for a reasonable offer.

Currently the bike is at De Motorzaak, Amsterdam.

Hi Michael, thanks a lot!

I've sent the link to my local dealer, hope he can use it!

best, Frank

No I don't know what it's called, exactly. Something with Vehicle Diagnostics I suppose. And I don't think Brammo would have put this online somewhere, but maybe they have...

Did you try revilo (Oliver) in Amsterdam or Marchel from Elektric motorcycles in Barneveld?
Can you pull the log files from an enertia?
maybe I can do something with it. ???

Olivier is where my bike is, currently. He replaced the chain and front sprocket. And he doesn't have the software anymore.
Marchel replied yesterday, that he's going to have to look for the software, but hasn't found the time to do so yet.

I've attached some old logs, that I still have on my computer from back in 2013, when I had other errors. There should be an S65 error in those log files somewhere.

Thanks, Frank

So, until now my search has not been successful. The Belgian link posted by Wilfried is out of business, the new owners of the shop he got his E+ don't have the software, and all others I asked haven't even replied.

I found the old link to Enspector, that reads Empulse log files but that doesn't really understand the logs of an Enertia+. So that's a dead end too, I fear.

Any other ideas?

Hi,

my Enertia+ had its chain and front sprocket replaced at my local dealer, but after they put everything back together the bike won't drive.
It shows a red warning light, but as my dashboard display is not working anymore, we can't see what the error message is.
The dealer doesn't have the original Brammo Enertia+ diagnostics software anymore, and the Victory version doesn't work on Enertias.
Does someone here by any chance know how to get a copy?
Or perhaps software to read the logs on the USB stick, error messages may be in there as well?

It would be a shame to have to scrap the bike because of this.

thanks, Frank

Still on the road I hope ?

Greetings from Antwerp
Wilfried E+ 00177

Mine's still doing fine, only the dashboard display no longer works.

Could anyone please take a picture of your suitcase holders and measure their dimensions?

I took a picture (attached) of my side bag holder. Some dimensions added, what else do you want measured? These came with the soft saddle bags option when Brammo was still selling those. Those bags are almost gone (zippers broken) but I still use one on the left to hold my lock and charge adapter.

Brammo Enertia Plus / Re: Sprocket replacement parts
« on: December 02, 2018, 05:12:43 AM »
Hi JeffK, no problem. I was hesitant because I thought you own an Empulse and not an Enertia Plus?

The Enertia Plus has a 72-tooth rear sprocket and a 13 tooth front sprocket, by the way.

Brammo Enertia Plus / Sprocket replacement parts
« on: November 01, 2018, 03:40:37 PM »
Hi all,

my Enertia Plus is still going strong, but my local (ex-)Brammo dealer thinks it would be good to replace the sprockets because my chain is rattling a lot lately.
It seems that the chain tension is not constant and he thinks the sprockets are to blame. But he doesn't have contacts anymore that can help him get spare parts.  Does anyone here know what make the sprockets on the Enertia Plus are? The front one is pretty small I'm told (but hard to see because it's inside the enclosure), the rear one is obviously extremely big. So not standard motorcycle parts I guess.

Thanks for any info!

Frank

Brammo Enertia Plus / Re: Dashboard issue
« on: July 09, 2017, 01:58:28 PM »
Actually, my dashboard is still not really functioning right. My dealer fixed it by drying and cleaning it, originally. They fixed most of it except the speedo needle. Ever since I've been riding without knowing how fast I'm going, but that was effectively the only thing. The display (showing battery percentage and motor temperature, the only two really important numbers to keep an eye on) was working good enough, that is, a number of lines of the LCD were out but most of it was readable.
But after recent service at my local shop, they tried fixing the dash again and now the LCD is a total blank. It was full of water again, even though I hardly ever ride in rain and always park my bike in our parking garage.
So I'm looking for a replacement (the dealer is too). Haven't heard from them yet.

Brammo Empulse / Re: Instrument cluster goes black!!!
« on: December 02, 2016, 04:10:37 PM »
the display was off but the bike was still plugged in and the small headlight and tail lights were still on.
Also the (green) lights indicator of the dash was on but nothing else.
So even while charging the dash can turn off.

That sounds a lot like the way my dash behaves. But that was definitely caused by water inside. After covering the electronics in rice for a week and some help from our dealer and an electronics shop next door, my dash is mostly working again (apart from the speedo needle and some lines on the LCD that don't work).

Brammo Enertia Plus / Re: Enertia Plus Charger
« on: July 05, 2016, 02:49:18 PM »
On this picture you see the end of the cable that goes into the charger of my Enertia Plus. A little googling tells me it's a C19.

Should not be that hard to find.

good luck,
Frank
