I've had a few requests come my way over the past several months for the TTX full fairing that I've shown here and in our race promotions. For those that missed it, here's a photo:

As it sits, these parts are hand laminated and autoclave cured pre-preg carbon fiber, which is about as expensive a process as it can get. This being the case, they're not very affordable for the average Joe and even a stretch for someone wanting to race as they may need to be replaced from time to time.
Long story short - I'm looking at having the set (nose cone, left side, right side, and bellypan) re-created in much cheaper fiberglass by a company with many years experience doing this (www.airtech-streamlining.com (http://www.airtech-streamlining.com)). I'd like to see if there's enough interest for a group buy.
The tooling is about $4k and the part set would be $380-420. If I can get enough interest, we may be able to spread the tooling cost across the first order. After that, the parts would be cheap and available for ourselves and more customers. PM me if you're interested.
A couple of details:
1. This is track bodywork... i.e. these are not designed to be run on the street. That said, I've seen lots of track bodywork adapted to street bikes, café racers, and other customs. It could be done, but would require trimming and maybe other modification.
2. Timing is around 6 weeks after order.
3. The parts come in a white gel-coat finish, ready for paint.
4. Custom sheetmetal brackets are required to mount the parts, or you could build your own. Let me know which you'd prefer in your PM.
5. I'm thinking we'd need about 5 participants to make this happen. No promises yet.

I'd be interested, just gotta see what they'd look like and how adaptable to a headlight they are.
I'd also like to have the fairing stays as well.

I would be moderately interested...depends on how the Brammo windshield looks...and how easy it is to mod this fairing for headlights...I am not a track guy, but ride everyday and my bike would have to at least appear street legal :)
And I ride a lot at night, so the fairing can't mess with good headlights....
And there is the old saying: Fairing---making motorcycles ugly since 1966...
A nice windshield would probably work best for me...sadly nice windshield is an oxymoron
That TTX fairing is much nicer visually than any windshield out there.

Of course, first things first...I want the 2014 dash...then the TTX modded higher seat...then a windshield or fairing...

Airtech makes great stuff! Had a race upper I modified for my evfr with headlights. Not terribly hard. Not sure what I could fit on that fairing.... Got me thinking.
Brian, what do you think the overall cost per set is going to be with the brackets?

I would be interested although I do like running around naked but it would probably increase range somewhat and that's always a plus.

I think some holes cut out and some plexy rivetted to the body and some lights behind would do fairly well. Might be hard to replicate the same curves of the body with an aftermarket headlight.

Exactly. I really not sure yet how to PM on this forum, but I'll check into it. In the meantime, I would be a definite yes for interest. 1, for the looks and 2, for the improved hi-speed mileage. I've always loved the cafe racer look.

I'm modifying a Ninja 250r for fit. It'll be a track/race only setup. I'll post up some pics when it's done.

Did you get much interest in this? I love the way the fairing looks and it doesn't hide too much of the bike. I would need something that could be made street legal and if I could end up with something that was street legal for under $1000 that did not require me to fabricate any parts, I am definitively interested.
Does anyone have any information on what was required to fit the Ninja fairing or any additional pictures of Arthur's bike with said fairing?
