Victory Empulse / Re: Fire sale!
« on: December 24, 2022, 01:28:10 PM »
I have loads of spare parts!
Would like to part with them all for a very reasonable amount.

Any offers?

All parts still available.
Not for long.
Thanks

My Empulse TT was just deemed irreperable.
It is going back to Polaris. The B9 Fault was confirmed as pending battery failure by a Victory dealer able to diagnose it.
I really regret seeing it go.  I have enjoyed it very much. So much missed potential there.
I will be removing many accessories that are now for sale, including the original OEM Givi side racks for any Monokey cases made specifically for Brammo. I haven't decided yet if I will keep the Kappa cases I have, they have been great. They may go onto a new Zero if they fit. And now I see that they DO NOT fit this monokey rack.  Cases sold.

So, one set of side racks with hardware and instructions designed specifically for an Empulse Victory or Brammo that show little use or wear if any. $295 plus shipping.

Also, none of which I believe are available any longer.

Performance Marzocchi (racing) forks off the bike. Fully adjustable for preload, compression, rebound damping.
A $2300 (when new) upgrade. Off the bike $750

New, unused OEM Victory Level 2 220v Charger that will work with any EV.  $250

New Tall Unused OEM windscreen never installed.   $99

Off the bike OEM frame sliders.  $49 They are big and solid made by Woodcraft.

Lowered (1.5") foot pegs with fitted bumpers for leveling. $30

Had a 2014 Brammo Empulse manual printed (with color photos) and bound at office max. $10  Has much more info and how to than the Victory manual.

Body pieces.
I was never crazy about the original red and swapped the major body panels from a Brammo Empulse.
Dark Silver main center (tank) cover $150
Black Chin Fairing Belly Pan (with Brammo label)  $100 it has a repaired crack on the very bottom from previous owner that is only visible from underneath, it's solid.
 Matching black fly screen $40
Front and rear fenders $40 each.
  Tail piece $20
They are all direct swap for the Victory.

I spray painted the small red portion of the seat to match the dark silver and all this completely changed the look of the bike.

I can send photos of any part if you email me, since the photo requirements are for very low resolution to post here.
paulhmartinez@live.com

All items plus shipping.
I'll entertain offers on the entire lot $1400 or better and split the shipping or sell individually but want to give anyone on this forum first shot at them before they go onto Ebay with these amounts as starting bids.
Thanks,
Paul

Off Topic / Re: Zero partners with Polaris Industries

This should be good news, right?
Anybody believe that maybe now a person might take their Victory (Polaris) Empulse to a Zero Dealer/Service for repair now?  Wouldn't they be sharing technology/software, parts, etc?
Would like to know what people here think.
Tired of the B9 system fault always present now.

Good.
Please let us (me) know what you find out.
Get as much detail from the tech that does the actual repair.
There is no service center anywhere in the entire Midwest that has the ability to repair any aspect of these bikes.
Much appreciated.

Maybe no big deal, but yes, bugging the crap out of me.
Not on all the time but flashes for few seconds every 5-10 seconds and defaults the display
If it is a battery issue, should be warranty

Mine is also now showing the B9 error
Had not run it in about month, have had no issues before this.
Seems to run as normal after 15 mile ride this morning.
closing in on 14,000 miles
I don't understand the fix.
 Little help?
Thanks

Brammo Empulse / Re: Are you having difficulty getting parts for repairs
« on: August 17, 2020, 11:01:00 AM »
Can't say for sure, but my assumption is pretty much anyone that needs parts or service.
Not only is there no support for Empulse/Brammo but it seems they don't offer much for Victory, although getting parts are not as serious a problem, yet.
Most former Victory dealers that were left high and dry (if they weren't already Indian dealers) will not go out of their way to service a Victory bike.  The dealer I purchased mine from never did and still doesn't sell Indian.
They now sell Ural, Hysong and Zero.
And they have no ability or interest in repairing an Empulse.

May be time for an attorney.

Unfortunately you have little leverage on your side.

They don't have much incentive to make the repair for you.

In the mean time I would be calling Victory and asking for regular updates from the person assigned to your case at least twice a week.  Give them a deadline. Then let them know they are "in breach of warranty" and if it is not repaired or replaced and returned to you by your set deadline you will no longer be calling and the next contact will come from your lawyer and you will be notifying the States' Attorney and other consumer reporting agencies to file your complaint. This is now an orphaned brand, meaning the parent company wants little to do with it or any associated problems.
Laws vary state by state. I leaned so called "lemon laws" don't apply to motorcycles in Illinois. Figures
Maybe they do where you are. Illinois categorizes them as luxury/recreational items, not as needed transport means.  What crap
Best of luck.  Don't allow yourself to get screwed by a giant billion dollar corporation!
Keep us updated.
