Translated for you guys with Google:

Brammo also announced a "Plus" version for commuters with double battery capacity, which will address some 150 miles away, but 9346 € is also much more expensive. They will be available in May on the German market. From the European headquarters in the Bavarian town of churches from the company from the U.S. state of Oregon wants to build first in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, a worldwide dealer network.

So the European headquarters are in Burgkirchen Germany ?

150 km is approximately 90 miles, fwiw.

9300 euros is quite expensive. I wonder how much of that is VAT.

150 km is indeed 90 miles, should checked that one....

If I'm not mistaken the "Mehrwertsteuer" (German VAT) is 19%.

Promo, maybe you can help me out with this (maybe you already have and I have just forgotten).  With my simple math (likely way too simple in this case), if the E+ will make it 90 miles with a 6kWh pack, then the Empulse 10.0 with a 10kWh pack should get to 150 miles/charge?

I'm just going to make the assumption that I'm wrong and the huge difference in motor power plays a big factor in efficiency and range.  On the off chance that I'm correct, 150 miles would be pretty nice!

If you rode for 6 hours on an oval track at 25 mph, you could probably get 150 miles from an Empulse 10.

I wouldn't recommend doing so, of course. : )

I think the difference in stated ranges could very well be attributed to the difference in weight, and even more so, motor power output. The Enertia+ weighs only 327lbs while the Empulse 10.0 is 420lbs. I bet my skinny ass (165lbs) could get 120 miles out of the Empulse driving with traffic, non-highway, commuting.

Yeah, I figured the weight and power of the Empulse would kill my idea.

My 6'4" 220lb frame doesn't really help my case, either.

One day...
