Just another week (+ a few days) until I'm going to pick up the bike. :o :o :o :o
At the moment all I have in my garage is a standard European 230V 10Amp schuko outlet. Is it possible to limit the internal charger to only use 10Amp (without triggering the fuse) or do I need to get me one of those fancy cables where there's selectable current?
Cheers,
Zappa

All that is done in your EVSE (the offboard charge cord). The EVSE needs to support lower current. The charger onboard is told, by the EVSE, how much current it can charge with.
I used an OpenEVSE and could set the charge current to anything I wanted.

OK, thanks for the info.
Damn this means I need to find a solution for the charging. Think I'll go for a cable called Spark (6/10/16 Amp, 230V, Schuko) which meets my needs of max 10amp (would most likely only charge at 6 amp during night).
Well luckily I'll ride cheap after but still, €550 means I need to ride about 5000km before break even... :) Well that will be done within a year anyway.
