I haven't been to Scuderia West for a while - ever since my Aprilia RS50 blew up. I was planning to visit the store in the near future. So it sounds like today would be a good time to do that. I'll be there shortly after the store opens at 10 am. I will be riding my blue BMW 2009 F650GS and wearing my funky old brown Hein Gericke touring suit.

Are the test rides being offered on a Plus? And are the test rides only today or will the dealership get a Plus to use as a demo model?

Cool - it's within driving distance for me - maybe I'll go check it out!

QUESTION: Is this the Enertia Plus?

The Brammo executives were holding court at the Scuderia West motorcycle shop in San Francisco this morning. They were down there signing up the shop to sell Brammo motorcycles and had brought along their prototype Empulse which was on display. It seemed that I was about the only person in the shop at the time not wearing a suit. I have photos that I took today in my computer files, but I don't know how to attach them. However, it appears to be the same bike that you have seen many times before - except the press photos are better than mine.

I was told that Brammo's exclusive selling agreement with Best Buy had expired and now regular motorcycle dealers could be franchised to sell their vehicle range.  As far as I am concerned that is great news. Buying and picking up my Empulse 10.0 at Scuderia West will be a lot more fun that doing so at Best Buy. Besides, the shop owners and staff are great people and provide about the best motorcycle customer service in the Bay Area, in my opinion.

The shop has an all black Enertia available for long test rides. I was offered a test ride and the salesman told me to take it out for an hour or so. I passed up the opportunity as riding an hour in San Francisco city traffic would age me about a year. But if anyone wants to try out an Enertia head for Scuderia West.

The bike in the shop is not the "Plus" version, I am pretty sure you won't see that bike in person for a while. I suspect that Brammo is still working out the kinks in the new LiPo battery pack assembly that will power the Plus and Empulse models.

Thanks....Gah, I would have loved to ride it for an hour...i would spend the whole time going up and down lombard st... :)

Though there is no black Enertia...unless this is a specially made Enertia...

Enertia is white, grey, orange and green...with one special blue...

Great report, Richard!
To upload files, you can use the AEVA Media link - at the top of the page, in the line that includes "Home Help Search ..." is "Media"  Go there, create a user album, upload the photos, and report back.  It's pretty easy once you do it a couple of times.

Gavin, this bike was completely blacked-out. It was the first time I had seen that color too. But there it was.

Looks like the plus...but no center stand...they could have put black parts on a standard enertia, or have a not yet completed plus for a demo...likely a standard with plus panels...

Perhaps brammo will let us know...

I think I finally figured out how to post photos in an album in the Media section. The six photos of the Empulse that I took at Scuderia West yesterday should be there. Please excuse the poor color rendition of my photos. The bike is really red, not orange.   ;)

All the shots I've seen of the Enertia Plus has the word "Enertia" and the green "+" sign on the side strip that seperates the two panels. The one in the photo in the store has the original Enertia 1.0 "electric" written on the side and it doesn't have the "+" mark. But if it is the 1.0, why would they claim an "early adopters" price of $7,995.00, which is the regular retail price of the 1.0?

In a very strange occurence, Richard and I stood right next to each other and never spoke a word.  Here's my picture of him taking a picture of the Empulse.

He had a hard time picking me out from all the suits and I had a hard time picking him out from the store employees!  I should've checked the forum as he mentioned what he would be wearing.

Next time...

The Enertia at Scuderia is the 1.0, 3.1kWh, or the "classic".  Don requested black body panels and we had an extra set, so viola!, Black Enertia.
