I always shock when I read it
39 hours still need for full charge
Can we change it to more user friendly
Say
XX HH : XX MM
-
The shock will wear off. ;)
But I agree with your point. It threw me the first time I saw that.
I guess the colon (:) symbol is supposed to trick the brain into thinking we are dealing with hours and minutes, even though only the word "hours" appears. Clearly, this was designed by engineers and not language folks. :D

Default time notation we use here, so no need to change it for EU.
Once you go EV, gas is history!

I guess you could also just remove the word "HOURS" and it would make sense either way.
Hell, you could remove "TIME" as well. "01:39 REMAINING" would fit on one line, in case there was other info you wanted to display.
-
I've seen 01h39m used in other places. Except that it would require localization in other countries perhaps. But I agree that 01:39 would be enough.
-
Yes XX:XX is well enough ;)

Wo ist das Problem? Es steht eindeutig 1 Stunde und 39 Minuten.
Google: Where is the problem? It is clearly 1 hour and 39 minutes.

I think I would be more shocked if it says 01:00 HOURS (plural). :P
